If you are attending a post-secondary school, we could assist with the costs for books, board exams, and tuition.  There is scholarship money available for those who qualify.

If you are about to graduate, make sure your interviewing skills are above average, let us check your resume, and find out what opportunities are available for your degree.

Those who are eligible and enrolled in the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) adult program can benefit from our services in many ways.  Wherever a participant is on their career journey when they enter the program, we can provide assistance and support to help in the achievement of their career goals.

For some that means starting at the very beginning with career counseling to determine what interests and skills should be focused on in determining an employment goal, and then laying out the steps that need to be taken to get there.

For others our program provides support in the form of grant money to help with the completion of a college degree.  Sometimes a participant only needs assistance to complete a resume or some support to help purchase work boots to start a new job.  Each WIA participant is unique and we pride ourselves on our ability to help all program participants in the most effective way possible by working to identify and overcome barriers to employment.

The program starts with you applying, us determining if you are eligible and you being ready and able to dedicate your focus and time to achieving employment.  The enrollment process involves writing your employment plan.  To do this, we need to set a job-specific goal and compile information about how best to help you to achieve the goal.  We maintain monthly contact with all participants to ensure that you are progressing towards your goal and to offer assistance in dealing with any issues that may arise.  The program doesn’t end until you have achieved employment, and even then, we continue to follow up with you for one year after your exit from the program to ensure that you continue to be successful in your chosen career.
